The Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) was established on 1 June 2011 as a sub-committee of
NHS Somerset with a membership including GP delegates from the nine GP federations in Somerset,
a Practice Manager, a registered nurse, a specialist doctor, LMC observers, senior management, and lay representation.
