Introduction
To make Practice Based Commissioning (PBC) more effective in Somerset, WyvernHealth.Com recognised that we need to talk to, and actively listen to, the views and thoughts of all of our partners.
We therefore established a WyvernHealth.Com Advisory Group with representatives from Primary Care, Secondary Care and other agencies in order to enable a core group of like-minded people, who share our vision of improving health, to work in partnership with us to support our local population, 'Adding Years to Life and Life to Years'.
As part of the engagement process we circulated a questionnaire for completion by representatives from many organisations. The responses have been used to help our thinking on how best to deliver quality improvements to patients, by utilising the skill and expertise of this group.
The WyvernHealth.Com Advisory Group meeting commenced in November 2008 and now meets on a six weekly basis.
